Alpha build — practice data only. Nothing shown here is real customer or personal information.

One register, two very different jobs

Building a prospect list and cleaning a CRM are separate jobs. Barcadia Data Services is being built to keep them apart so neither gets in the way of the other. Today the working software is our internal stewardship workspace, where data is ingested, matched and governed before any customer sees it.

The customer portal we are building

None of these areas are open to customers yet — this is the product roadmap, not a description of what you can log into today. Apply for access and we will tell you where each part has got to.

  • Dashboard

Recent activity, saved lists, your export allowance and anything that needs attention.

  • Explore data

Search and filter the approved dataset without being drawn into a cleaning project.

  • Organisations

Organisation profiles with status, FRN, addresses and the people associated with them.

  • People

Individual profiles showing current firm, previous firms and regulatory status.

  • My lists

Saved searches and selected records, ready to review or export.

  • Review and clean

A separate journey for duplicates, moved people, differences and insufficient input.

  • Exports

Prepare, review and download only the records you are eligible to export.

  • Account and usage

Plan, users, permissions and a full export history.

Matching and review, as decisions rather than spreadsheets

This is how our stewards review data internally today: every proposed update is presented as a decision that can be understood and defended. The same decision view is what we intend to give customers when the review-and-clean journey opens up.

Every proposed update shows

  • Current value
  • Verified or proposed value
  • Status — Add, Different, Similar, Verified or Conflict
  • Confidence — High, Medium or Low
  • Source
  • Last checked
  • Recommended action — accept, keep existing or send for review

Safeguards that never bend

  • “No longer authorised” defaults to archive or suppress, never delete.
  • “Moved firm” preserves the person’s previous relationship and history.
  • Duplicate merging shows which record survives and what history it carries.
  • FCA registered-office addresses are clearly distinguished from branch addresses.
  • Telephone numbers identify switchboard numbers; TPS/CTPS screening is a planned addition.
  • Confidence is never communicated by colour alone — labels and icons too.
  • Bulk actions preview exactly what will change before you confirm.
